How Do We Help Heal as a Nation?

Recognize. Repent. Respond. Relationships.

We believe that healing happens when we recognize the depth of our country’s racial injustice past and present, repent in word and action, and respond as agents of repair in the context of relationships.

Now more than ever, we have an opportunity for deep, transformational healing. The first step is learning. Go with us on a journey through our nation’s history. Learn about the legacies of slavery and how they affect us today. Learning enables us to recognize the current issues. It is also the foundation for repentance and response. Let’s take the first steps together.

As part of our #Lament2020 campaign, we invite you to participate in the following events anchored around Juneteenth.

Friday, June 19th (3:00-4:00 PM EST)
Join the Repentance Project, Coracle, and a coalition of 18 organizations to listen, lament, and pray. The service will be broadcast from the Corhaven Graveyard, a burial ground for enslaved men and women, and the birthplace of the Repentance Project. Register.
